Anum believes that a strong patient–provider relationship is essential to effective treatment, and she finds deep fulfillment in building connections that help patients feel heard and valued during difficult times. She advocates for a physician-led approach that integrates psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, and personalized medication plans around each individual's needs and goals.
She earned her Master's in Medical Science from Arcadia University in 2013 and previously worked as a registered dietitian. Committed to global and community health, she has taken part in medical missions in Pakistan, Haiti, Jordan, and underserved communities across the United States, and is currently expanding her expertise through training in functional psychiatry under Dr. James Greenblatt, MD.
In her free time, Anum enjoys spending time in nature, expressing creativity through visual arts, and making memories with loved ones — and, on occasion, she brings her pet green-cheek conure, Yoshe, in to brighten a visit.
